If money, time and experience were no object what would you do for a job? My wife and I would always ask each other this question on long hikes. I always said boot maker (I’m never made boots) and she always said chocolate maker.
One day we found ourselves watching a chocolate making tutorial video on Skillshare. After the video we looked at each other and at the same time, like a movie, we exclaimed “We must make chocolate!” So we spent the next couple of years practicing and making chocolate for friends. Soon we decided it was ready for the world to try and we formed the Plains to Peaks Chocolate Company.
While my wife made the chocolate recipes I got to put together packaging, signage, a website and even 3d modeled a bar design that was turned into molds in our custom mold making vacuum former.
